Comprehensive Four Stage Clearing Tests
Following asbestos removal, it is necessary to make sure the premises have a certification of safety. We complete four-stage clearance, which includes the following:
- A preliminary check of the overall site condition
- A thorough visual inspection
- Air monitoring for any residue asbestos fibres
- A final assessment to determine that the site is thoroughly cleaned and ready to be reused

We perform in-depth asbestos surveys to determine the presence of asbestos in your premises. This survey will identify the type of ACM (asbestos-containing material) that is present, the quantity of the material and its overall condition. Asbestos is often mixed in with other materials, making thorough sample collecting and analysis essential.
An asbestos survey is necessary when any building work is likely to disturb or damage any known asbestos. You also have one carried out when you suspect the presence of asbestos or want clarification of previous testing. There are two main types of asbestos surveys:
- Asbestos management survey (formally Type 2)
- Asbestos refurbishment/demolition survey (formally Type 3)
The type of survey you have will depend on the nature of your requirements. All our asbestos surveys are completed promptly and with due diligence. Afterwards, we will provide you with a thorough report detailing everything in our findings and our suggested action points.
